BREAKING: UNB Announces Plan for Fall 2021 Semester

On February 25, President Mazerolle announced that the Fall 2021 semester will aim to increase in-person classes on campus while maintaining a mixture of alternate delivery methods.

Administration will work with professors to determine how to safely carry out classes in an in-person setting while adhering to province guidelines as the pandemic continues.

“We will expand our in-person course offerings and on-campus activities in accordance with the prevalence of COVID-19 in the province and recommendations of Public Health,” Mazerolle explained.

Mazerolle announced that exchange programs, both inbound and outbound, will be suspended for the Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 semesters. As well, programs that include visitors requiring temporary work permits will be suspended.

“We have overcome many challenges and shared many successes throughout this past year,” explained Mazerolle. “It is encouraging to be taking the next steps in planning.”
