The 2025 AUS women’s rugby regular season will kick off with two games on opening weekend. The STFX X-Women will host the UPEI Panthers Friday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. The defending champion Axewomen will then visit the Saint Mary’s Huskies Sunday, Sept. 7 for a 2 p.m. game.
Acadia will host their own home opener Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. versus the STFX in a rematch of the 2024 conference final.
Regular season play will wrap up Thanksgiving weekend with two games Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. followed by the start of the AUS playoffs the following week.
The 2025 Bell AUS Rugby Championship will then feature a three-team playoff format. The team that finishes third in the regular season standings will visit the second-place team in Week 7, with the winner moving on to visit the first-place team the following week in the championship final game.
The 2025 U SPORTS women’s rugby championship is being hosted Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 by the University of British Columbia.
