Silver Wave Film Festival Preview

Silver Wave Film Festival Preview

The Silver Wave Film Festival (SWFF) takes place every year during the month of November. Created by the NB Film Co-op staff and board, the festival celebrates New Brunswick made films and showcases films from around the world. SWFF consists of a variety of screenings, parties, receptions, workshops, panels and Silver Wave Awards. Their main goal is to support and promote the filmmaking talent of local and international filmmakers.

Tony Merzetti, Executive Director of the NB Filmmakers Co-operative said that filmmaking is burgeoning with more people creating film work, so having an event such as the SWFF to showcase the best films is essential.

The festival is celebrating their 19th edition. Their launch event took place at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre on Friday, October 18th, 2019. The event was open to all and organizers of the event unveiled the full festival program. The festival will be hosting events from November 7th to November 10th, 2019.
