WHKY: UoT Blues drop UNB Reds 2-0

The UNB Reds fell 2-0 to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues in the quarter-finals of the U Sports Women’s Hockey Championship Friday night in Elmira, Ont. Despite a strong start, the Reds were outshot 39-13, with goalie Cassie McCallum making 37 saves and earning player of the game honors. First-year defender Lilly Bell praised McCallum’s performance, calling it "unreal." The Reds now move to the consolation bracket and will face the UBC Thunderbirds on Saturday at 2 p.m. Atlantic.

AUS Basketball Championships set new ticket sales record as event celebrates 10 years of integrated women’s and men’s tournaments

(HALIFAX, N.S.) On the 10th installment of the integrated women’s and men’s event, the 2025 Bell AUS Basketball Championships, presented by G-Series, set a new record for ticket sales. The 2025 box office results were the best in event history, narrowly topping the 2024 championship which itself had set a new all-time attendance record of over 25,000 attendees—a 25% increase over the 2023 event.
