The Fredericton transit system will continue for the time being.
The city of Fredericton and Canadian Union of Public Employees 1783 (the union representing bus drivers) have reached a tentative agreement. This comes days after the city rejected an offer from the union. More on this story will be presented as it develops.
A tentative agreement has been reached with City’s transit drivers. Documents will be prepared; joint statement issued at a later date.
