No one likes getting sick, especially with the flu, so the UNB Health Centre is offering flu shots until Nov. 14.
“Flu shots are extremely important for students. Every day we’re in an environment where we’re susceptible to illness because of the contact we have with others and the public materials used in a university setting,” said student Michelle Levesque.
“I’ve always gotten a flu shot and it’s been extremely beneficial. I can’t remember the last time I had a major flu.”
The schedule for flu shots is posted on the UNB Student Health Centre website:
Oct. 23, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at HIL Reading room 109
Oct. 24, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Head Hall GWD108
Oct. 24, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at CC Jones room 024
Oct. 29, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at STU O’Keefe Fitness Centre
Oct. 30, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at SUB cafeteria
Nov. 5, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at STU O’Keefe Fitness Centre
Nov. 6, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the University Bookstore
Nov. 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ludlow Hall room 26
Nov. 13, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at HR 106, Physics and Admin Building
Nov. 14, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Currie Center Long Hall
Flu shots are $15 per student and $25 for everyone else.
